Warner Bros. is experiencing difficulties keeping set photos and videos from leaking online. First there was the set of leaked outdoor images, then the fiasco of the Comic-Con video trailer leaking which forced the studios to release an official copy of the trailer, and now there's been another leak which hints at Harley Quinn's origin story.

Ingrid Kleinig, the stunt double for actress Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad," recently posted a photo via Instagram. Kleinig's account has recently been shut down but a screen shot of the image has spread online, and it gives a hint on the route the studio is taking with regard to the origin story of Harley Quinn and the Joker (Jared Leto).

In the comic book source materials, The Joker was once known as the Red Hood — a moniker later used by Jason Todd — and fell into a vat of Ace Chemicals while he was fighting the Batman. He emerged with bleached skin and a deranged mind.

Harley Quinn was once known as Dr. Harleen Quinzel and she worked as the psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum assigned to help the Joker regain his sanity. Instead, his tortures and psychotic mind got to her, driving her to the brink of insanity and obsession about him. To complete her transformation, he pushed her into Ace Chemicals, making her just like him.

It is unsure just how much of this story and its different variations in the comics will be used for "Suicide Squad" but this image somehow confirms that it will be there.

There is a scene in the trailer, which is most likely going to be a flashback sequence, where Dr. Quinzel is strapped down and the Joker is about to torture her with electrodes, indicating that her transformation into Harley Quinn will involve more than just a chemical accident.

"Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
