Five months after dropping a first look trailer for the supervillain film "Suicide Squad," Warner Bros. finally released a synopsis. While it isn't as detailed as one would hope for, it still allows fans to at least scratch the surface.

"It feels good to be bad... Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity."

"U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?"

Unfortunately, the synopsis does not detail who will be the big bad the titular group will take on in "Suicide Squad." With a whole host of villains in the DC Comics universe the group can tackle, it is tough to call which one fits the bill.

It is still unclear whether or not the film already showed the face of its villain. If it already did, media outlets believe that there are only two possible characters that will end up being the Suicide Squad's target.

One of which is Joker played by Jared Leto and the other is Enchantress portrayed by Cara Delevingne. Both baddies are yet to show up in group pictures, giving the impression that they aren't part of the team.

The former has every quality to be the person worthy of having a menacing group of criminals run after him. Slash Film points out how he could easily be the "enigmatic, insuperable entity" as the "Suicide Squad" synopsis describes.

The latter, on the other hand, is what media outlets have suggested since day one. Some say that Lex Luthor will show up in the film and that Batman will also make an appearance. Hopefully, more details will arrive soon as "Suicide Squad" inches closer to its Aug. 5, 2016 release date.
