All eyes will be on Ben Affleck when he portrays the Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice flick set for release on March 25, 2016. If the trailers are to be used as gauges, Affleck seems to have fit into the role pretty well.

But it looks like Affleck will continue to don the role again three months after the expected film release with word that he will have a scene at Suicide Squad which is set to be shown on August 5, 2016. Initial reports claim that it would just be a cameo role but the latest word regarding this buzz is that it could very well be more than that.

Apparently Batman will be involved in an extended action sequence which will see him in a car chase with the Joker (Jared Leto). It looks like the Batmobile and Joker's ride will be racing around the streets which may eventually end up in a confrontation between the two sworn enemies.

Leaked photos and videos gave Batman away, including a video which you can see below showing the Dark Knight on a purple car which presumably will be the one driven by the Joker.

Fans trooped the streets of Toronto last May 27 and a lot of the caught a glimpse of the filming, including the supposed scene which involves the Dark Knight. Though Affleck was believed to be in Toronto during filming, it wasn't him but apparently his stuntman double, who was on top the wild revving vehicle.

Would this have any link to rumors that the Joker will make a cameo appearance on Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice too? There is a big possibility.

This development should be great news for DC fans, particularly the ones who are looking forward to the interconnected films set to be released by the DC Cinematic Universe.

Suicide Squad is set to be shown on August 5, 2016, 3 months after the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice debut.
