Harvey Specter's new struggles in the office opened the fifth season of "Suits," and it did not end in the first episode. 

In the premiere episode, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) had a hard time adjusting after Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) left her job as his secretary to work for his long-time rival Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman). Donna had been working for Harvey since his first year as an assistant district secretary, which is why he is having a hard time dealing with his daily tasks without his trusted assistant. 

In the second episode titled "Compensation," Harvey finally accepts the fact that Donna will not return in his office anytime soon. This is why he decides to start looking for a new secretary to replace Donna.

But Harvey's troubles are just beginning. In the upcoming episode, an up-and-coming partner at the Pearson, Specter, Litt law firm named Jack Soloff (John Pyper-Ferguson) will question Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) about Harvey's capacity to lead the firm. Will this affect his standing inside the law office?

Episode 2 will also finally highlight Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel's (Meghan Markle) relationship as a newly engaged couple. Although both are still elated after Mike's proposal in season 4, the two start having problems when Rachel's dad Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) appears and offers several unsolicited pieces of advice to his future son-in-law. Will this affect the couple's decision to walk down the aisle? 

The official synopsis for "Suits" season 5 episode 2 reads: 

Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna. Mike takes a case as a favor, which he must justify to Jessica – while Rachel's father, Robert Zane, offers some unsolicited advice about Rachel's engagement to Mike. And Louis is embroiled in surprising money matters, while an up-and-coming partner, Jack, makes his presence known to Jessica, confronting her about whether Harvey's way of doing business is beneficial to the firm."

The episode will air on Wednesday, July 1, on the USA Network.
