'Suits' season 5B spoilers: Donna gets over Harvey and Mike's informer to be revealed

Mike's snitch will be disclosed in the latter part of "Suits" season 5B.USA Network

Fans of the legal drama "Suits" will have to wait a little longer, as the identity of Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) whistleblower will be not be immediately revealed when the USA Network series returns for the second half of its fifth season.

Executive Producer Aaron Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter that although everyone is in tenterhooks as to who outed Mike and his fraudulent activities, they were unlikely to reveal it in episode 11. The midseason finale of the series ended on a cliffhanger, when Mike was taken away by the police for committing fraud. With the charges against him, the protégée's entire legal career was left hanging.

Korsh said in an interview with the media outlet that the person who blew the whistle on Mike could have been just about anyone, "a friend, foe, a neutral party or someone who has never even met him." According to him, they thought long and hard as to who would be the one to reveal Mike's secret, until the decision went to someone he liked.

Meanwhile, the executive producer revealed with TV Line that Donna (Sarah Rafferty) was not kidding when she told Harvey (Gabriel Macht) she was dating someone. It now appears that she has finally moved on from her fixation with the lawyer and might be ready to find someone new to replace him.

"Yes, she was telling the truth. But it remains to be seen how important that relationship ends up being. She was not lying. I do not think Donna would do that. But it's possible that, since then, they've broken up. We don't know. We have to figure that out," Korsh said.

Korsh also shared that the first half of the upcoming season would focus on Harvey, as he deals with his heartbreak. The last six episodes, however, would dwell on Mike and his predicament after he got arrested.

"Suits" season 5B is expected to return sometime in early 2016.
