New characters will be introduced when "Suits" returns to USA Network for season 6.

Deadline revealed the names of the new characters that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) will encounter behind bars.

According to the report, "Major Crimes" actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner will portray the role of the Danbury Prison counselor who will help inmates like Mike survive their time in jail and lead them to the right path, toward rehabilitation.

"Nurse Jackie" star Paul Schulze will also appear in the upcoming season as inmate Frank Gallo, who will first help Mike get acquainted with life inside the prison.

"ER" alum Erik Palladino will also join the cast in season 6 as Kevin Miller. At first, Mike is uncertain whether he can trust Kevin, but the two learn to depend on each other as the series progresses for the season. He can also be considered as Mike's real friend behind bars.

Meanwhile, speculations claim that Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) will help Mike earn his law degree while serving his time behind bars. This could help strengthen their bond as friends as they take on the challenge of studying in prison.

Macht also revealed that his character's relationship with colleage Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) will continue to be erratic in season 6.

"Both of them have as much anxiety as they other, you know. It's just how each of them deals with it. In the last four or five episodes their storylines were splintered out. [In season six] there's a big mess, the house of cards has fallen so we're going to see how they build Pearson Specter Litt back up," the actor explained in an interview with Stuff NZ. "And the first thing is to get Harvey and Louis back on track. I've read the first episode and I can't give you too much, but I'll tell you this: if you can imagine these characters in a sort of Breakfast Club Scenario, there's some good hijinks."

"Suits" season 6 is slated to premiere this fall.
