Now that Jessica (Gina Torres) has exited the firm and the show, it is anticipated that someone new will be joining the Specter Litt firm. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the show will end on its seventh installment.

Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Lewis' (Rick Hoffman) are now responsible for the firm, and the two will have their hands full in rebuilding it from its recent collapse, especially now that Jessica is no longer a partner.

According to News Everyday, the firm will be faced with a new conflict when the series returns next year. But someone will be joining the firm soon, and this newcomer will help Harvey and the rest of the firm to take care of the damage that will result from the said conflict.

Since Torres' exit from the show, there have been a lot of rumors about "Suits" ending soon. There are also rumors that another actor who plays a main character – Macht – will be following Torres' exit by the end of season 6.

In an interview with Collider, executive producer Aaron Korsh talks about how many seasons he sees "Suits" will be taking on.

"At some point, there will come a time when either I, individually, or we, collectively – studio, network, cast, writers – think it's time to go. I've always said that I think seven seasons would be the minimum that we would do, and then beyond that, we'll see," Krosh explained.

Krosh also confirmed that the cast of "Suits" are under contract to continue through a seventh season, which debunks the rumors that Macht will be leaving the show soon. But Krosh adds that he is more concerned with the writers' contracts and puts more emphasis on the creative component of the series.

"When they're starting shows, they have to get the cast under contract for more seasons because, most of the time, the cast is obviously the face of the show. But, writers' initial contracts are usually much less. I think about it more in terms of creatively. That's usually what I think about when I think about how long things should go," added Krosh.

"Suits" season 6 returns on January 25, 2017.
