New information has come up regarding the person who exposed Mike Ross' (Patrick J. Adams) fraud, thanks to Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Spectre in the USA Network series "Suits."

In an interview with Fox News, Macht opened up about the mysterious whistleblower that sent Mike behind bars during the midseason finale. Little snippets on the identity of the person have been reported in the past, with the network even conducting a poll to determine who the viewers thought was the culprit.

According to series creator Aaron Korsh, the revelation would not exactly come as a surprise. This meant that at one point or another, the person is someone who held a grudge against Mike and was just bidding his/her time to expose him for what he is. This time, new details on the snitch have been revealed, care of Macht.

"You've seen this person in the last 5 seasons. They've definitely walked in the halls of Pearson Specter Litt. There is a strong connection to some of the characters and I was surprised [when I found out who it was.] I was like, "Okay, we'll see how the writers deal with that." I think they've connected the dots and you feel for the characters. It affects all of us," he shared.

Meanwhile, Korsh told TV Line that Mike would undergo depression in season 5B. Adams' character is reportedly a good person and the revelation that he does not have a law degree is gnawing at his conscience. The fact that a hard-hitting prosecutor is also after his neck will make matters worse for Mike, as he fears he is never getting out of his sticky predicament.

"He does understand that he did it. I guess in various ways he will have crises of conscience, but that is not going to stop them from trying to make the consequences of this thing be as soft as possible," he said.

"Suits" season 5 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on USA Network.
