'Super Smash Bros. 4' DLC roster: Bayonetta follows 'Fire Emblem' character Corrin

Nintendo

The final batch of DLC to ever hit the much-loved brawler "Super Smash Bros. 4" brings two more characters all the way from two different universes. Just recently, Bayonetta, the magical firearm-wielding witch from the game of the same name, was confirmed the latest addition to the game's massive roster.

With several costumes available, players have the liberty to have Bayonetta don her original long locks or her short hair from "Bayonetta 2" as seen in the trailer. Coming along the character is the Umbra Clock Tower stage, all of which for $5.99 on either 3DS or Wii U and $6.99 for both.

The announcement about the character's entrance in "Super Smash Bros. 4" comes shortly after another "Fire Emblem" character in the form of Corrin was confirmed to be a future playable character in the game.

Corrin can be played as a male or female fighter. This will inflict no change on the character's gameplay though. The fighter expands the territory of "Fire Emblem" in the brawler. Before Corrin, a slew of characters from the tactical role-playing video game have graced the "Super Smash Bros. 4 universe."

Unlike Bayonetta, Corrin won't come with an additional stage but players who purchase the character will get some goodies. Wii U players will be granted with a couple of new "Fire Emblem" music tracks while 3DS players will get to take home Ryoma and Xander trophies.

Corrin is priced at $4.99 individually on Wii U or 3DS. To get versions for both the systems, players will have to shell out an additional $1. The character will be available on Feb. 19, 2016. It is unclear if Bayonetta will also be available on that date as she is also up for a February release date.

Yesterday, Cloud Strife from "Final Fantasy 7" officially bulked up the ever-expanding "Super Smash Bros. 4" ensemble.
