Newly released downloadable content (DLC) for "Super Smash Bros." is adding a bunch of new content, including stages and costumes, to the fighting game.

First off, two new stages have been added to "Super Smash Bros.," and they are likely to be familiar to players who have also tried the N64 version of the fighting game. Both Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle were stages originally found in the N64 title, and now, both venues have been updated for the latest installment of the franchise.

Both Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle can be purchased for $2.

New costumes for Mii fighters have also been made available via the latest update for "Super Smash Bros.," according to Gamespot.

Seven new costumes for Mii fighters have been added, and some of them are truly capable of giving the players' personal characters entirely new appearances.

Among some of the notable costumes included in the latest patch are Samus's Armor, a tribute Mii costume to the heroine of the "Metroid" franchise, and even the Flying Man Set, a set of items that helps a Mii fighter look more like a character from the cult favorite, "Earthbound."

Thanks to the new patch, players can also directly upload fight replays from "Super Smash Bros." right to YouTube if they choose to do so.

Aside from the new content now added to "Super Smash Bros.," some needed tweaks have also been made via the latest update, according to Cinema Blend.

Many of these tweaks are character-specific and they have been made to facilitate better gameplay.

For example, prior to the patch, Pikachu had an ability that basically allowed him to fire off an infinite Thunder Wave, but thanks to the update, this glitch has been removed.

Other characters such as Pac-Man and Marth have also been affected by the character tweaks, although it's unclear how many other fighters in "Super Smash Bros." have been changed.
