In the next episode of "Supergirl," Morgan Edge (Adrian Pasdar) takes revenge on Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) for something she apparently did.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Damage" was just released recently and showed Luthor telling Edge, "So this is what your revenge looks like. Whoever was responsible for this, they deserve to die. No trial, no jury, just erased from the world." She then takes out her gun and points it at Edge who is taken aback and says, "That's disappointing." There were a number of children who got sick because of lead poisoning and Edge happens to blame Luthor for it. It seems he is going to push her to the edge where people's lives on an airplane will be at stake. The right engine of the plane bursts into flames, which prompts Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to fly in and save it.

Kara's friend Samantha (Odette Annable) also comes in and tries to clear Luthor's name. She appears to be in trouble as the burning airline flies above her. It remains to be seen if Luthor will be redeemed from the accusations and if Supergirl will be able to save her from danger. Meanwhile, Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie Sawyer (guest star Floriana Lima) have to make an important decision regarding their troubled relationship.

In the previous episode, Supergirl thwarted a cult leader named Thomas Coville (Chad Lowe) from blowing up a hockey stadium with a device from Kryton. Coville's group worshipped Supergirl and wanted her to come in and save the people from the explosion so that they would become followers as well. He was eventually captured and brought to justice but still worshipped the superhero nevertheless.

"Supergirl" season 3 episode 5 will air on Monday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
