Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will race with time to bring down the baby of Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) in episode 19 of "Supernatural" season 12.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "The Future" reveals that Sam will figure out a way to stop Lucifer's baby. He and Dean will do their best and race with time to kill the baby before the mother, Kelly (Courtney Ford), gives birth to him. However, they will have to deal with Dagon (Ali Ahn) first, as Castiel (Misha Collins) seems to have different plans about the matter.

The promotional preview of episode 19 shows Dagon telling Kelly that she will die in her childbirth, as humans are not meant to endure the pain of giving birth to nephilims. Kelly looks appalled with the news, but she seems to have other plans in mind for her child as well.

Meanwhile, Sam and Dean agree that they only have less than a month to solve the case. However, when they proceed with their plan, they find out that Castiel has gone ahead and confronted Dagon on his own. The preview shows that Dagon has the upper hand, as she locks Castiel in a powerful grip.

Sam and Dean try to help Castiel by shooting Dagon using the colt. However, Dagon seems immune with the attack. The brothers have to kill the demon before dealing with Kelly, but Dagon is unaffected with the colt.

In the end, the summary reveals that Sam will find out that someone stole the real colt. Although this angers him, he has to put this aside first and double time so they can deal with Dagon and Kelly before everything is too late. Will they be successful with their plan?

"Supernatural" season 12 episode 19 airs on Thursday, April 27, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
