After a string of various cases, the focus is back on Amara in "Supernatural" season 11 episode 14, which is titled "The Vessel." The episode is made more exciting with the Winchester brothers having to trifle with the fabric of time to defeat Darkness.

Sam and Dean believe that travelling back in time to get hold of the Hand of God, which is capable of bringing down their fearsome foe, will give them the edge in beating Amara for good. However, it looks like Lucifer will not make things easy for them.

In order to turn back the hands of time, Dean seeks the help of Castiel, who is still controlled by Lucifer in this "Supernatural" season 11 episode. Seeing that this powerful weapon has benefits he can enjoy, Lucifer goes along with the brothers' plan acting as Castiel.

Apart from the possibility that Lucifer might actually end up getting a hold of the Hand of God for destructive reasons the brothers are out to eliminate with the use of the weapon, there's also the risk of time travel that Sam apparently knows very well.

But it's not like risks will stop Dean and Sam from getting their job done. The sneak peek for "Supernatural" season 11 episode 14 teases that Dean and Sam were successfully transported back in the olden days, particularly in the World War II era. However, things take a dark turn when Dean reveals where he really comes from.

"I am on a mission from the future," Dean announces to the American soldiers on a submarine. After this bombshell, things appeared to have gone awry. It looks like Dean and Sam should worry about the risks of time travel after all.

Meanwhile, Lucifer continues to mess with everyone. The "Supernatural" season 11 episode 14 promo shows that the devil still has Crowley and the king of hell is not happy about it at all.

Supernatural" season 11 episode 14 "The Vessel" airs Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on CW.
