'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: Winchester brothers to face seductive villainess in new episodes

"Supernatural" season 10 was all about getting rid of the Mark of Cain, and the finale resolved this issue. However, it also opened the doors for something worse. During the closing scenes of the finale, the Winchester brothers unleashed the Darkness from its prison and along with it comes a new extraterrestrial villain, the femme fatale Amara.

According to a report from TVLine, Amara will appear right from the get-go in the premiere episode titled "The Bad Seed." She is described as an alien lifeform who comes down to Earth now that the Darkness has been released from its captivity.

The character is described as a female who appears to be in her late 20's and has an "acid tongue and seductive beauty." She might use both to manipulate the brothers and their friends as well as to attract minions and allies to her cause — that of destruction and death.

She comes to Earth for the first time, as the report says, and is new to the human world. She almost immediately finds nothing impressive. However, just because nothing on Earth seems attractive to her doesn't mean she'll be leaving any time soon. According to the report, she is set to be a recurring villain all throughout the season.

IBTimes surmises that it is also possible Amara is just one of the destructive beings summoned after the Darkness was freed. While Sam and Dean spend season 11 looking for a way to stop the Darkness and imprison it once more, they might also have to deal with the creatures that it attracts, with Amara just being one of them.

The cast and crew are also set to make an appearance at the "Supernatural" panel at this year's Comic-Con so there may be more announcements regarding Amara such as the unveiling of the actor chosen to portray her.

"Season 11" has just begun production and is scheduled to premiere this Oct. 7.
