The Mark of Cain may now be out of Dean's system but the Winchester brothers won't run out of problems to solve and battles to win. In "Supernatural" season 11, Dean and Sam will be dealing with the Darkness that's set to take over the entire planet. 

"Now it's figuring out how to deal with decisions we've made... What I like about where we're going is -- the brothers are united [in a way] similar to Season 1 when we were looking for dad. It's not one of us inflicted with some sort of craziness," Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam, said via IGN. 

Speaking of unity, the Winchester brothers will get to bond more, with Dean already back to his normal self and Sam, too, after losing himself trying to get the Mark of Cain out of Dean. And with a new threat looming, the two will at last be a team again to take it down. 

But they won't always battle the bad guy in "Supernatural" season 11. According to Pop Sugar, Sam and Dean will also have some "downtime," which they will use to hang out and have fun in the Impala. The entire episode 4 of the upcoming season will be all about this. 

Talking more about the antagonist for "Supernatural" season 11, Misha Collins, who plays Castiel, said via IGN, "So far, from what I have seen of the season, my impression is that we are united against a common enemy."

More on this common enemy, showrunner Jeremy Carver said via Pop Sugar that fans will learn about the Darkness and the horrors it can do "within the first 20 seconds" of the premiere.  

Meanwhile, Mark Sheppard, who plays Crowley, reiterated in the whole duration of the Comic-Con panel that his character is dead. However, media outlets aren't sure if there's truth to that. Good thing the series will pick up right where it left off. With this, fans will readily know if the hell honcho is really done for.
