The Mark of Cain will wear off temporarily in "Supernatural," so in episode 13 titled "Halt and Catch Fire," Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) will go back to hunting and exterminating monsters in the neighborhood. This time, the Winchester brothers will be tackling a ghost, a tech savvy one at that. The pair has to uncover the mysteries surrounding new killings, each one cryptically carried out with the use of an electronic object.

With a bit more hounding, the duo discovers that a ghost lurking in the area kills people with different electronic devices such as computers (and their cords), and it is all to seek revenge on a band of college students. The vindictive spirit has already managed to leave three people dead and the brothers cannot afford another casualty. As the two figure out how a phantom can do such a thing, they rush to prevent more murders and find the ghost to stop the madness once and for all. Promotional photos of the show reveal Sam and Dean setting a truck on fire as they save the ghost's fourth potential victim, a girl named Delilah (Ali Milner).

"Supernatural" fans also seem psyched about the Mark of Cain storyline. In the previous episode, people were oddly disappearing out of thin air, nowhere to be seen and nothing to be found other than their clothes. As Dean and Sam tried to get to the bottom of the mystery, Dean became victimized by the perpetrator who was revealed to be Hansel from the classic fairy-tale "Hansel and Gretel." Hansel was kidnapping people and turning them into younger versions of themselves to mollify the evil witch. Dean, in turn, reverted to his 14-year-old self.

According to Carter Matt, more of the Mark of Cain mayhem will be revisited later this month. In the meantime, get a load of the technology-loving ghost in "Halt and Catch Fire" on Feb. 12.
