'Supernatural' season 10 premiere, spoilers: Production kicks off for October 7 air date
The "Supernatural" crew and cast went back to work as the production for the series' 10th season kicked off.
The production team returned to Vancouver to resume filming where the series left off last season. After five weeks of laborious writing and revising the plots for the first five episodes of "Supernatural", the series' location manager, Russ Hamilton, tweeted last Monday, "5:41 a.m. I think we can safely say that today is officially Day One of Prep for Season Ten."
Meanwhile, the cast, including series regulars Jensen Ackles (Dean), Jared Padalecki (Sam), Misha Collins (Castiel), and Crowley (Mark Sheppard), still have weeks of vacation and it seemed that they are now reviewing the script.
Actor Jared Padalecki confirmed that the series will be back on October 7. "Clear your calendars!! October 7th, the Winchester's are back in action! Don't make me come get you! #supernatural #CWFallPremieres," the actor posted on his Twitter account @jarpad.
Expectations are high for the tenth season of 'Supernatural' as it will explore the demonic state of one of the Winchester brothers, Dean. Jared Padalecki said that the last 30 seconds in the season 9 finale set up the plot of the 10th season.
He also said that the tenth season tackles Dean's reincarnation as a demon. Reports said that Dean will encounter challenges coming to terms with the fact that he transformed into a demon, which is what he dreaded and feared the most.
According to actor Jensen Ackles, he believed that his brother in the series Sam will save his demonic character and that their brotherly love will prevail. The actor is unsure of what method Sam will find to save him but he is not dismissing the chance that his character will be back to normal.
"Supernatural" season 10 is set to air in October at the CW Network.
