'Supernatural' season 11 episode 21 spoilers: Trust issues with God as Sam and Dean take on Amara in 'All in the Family'
Chuck was God all along and people including Metatron are mad that he's been absent for a long while. Now that he is back, the fight against Amara officially begins in "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21 "All in the Family."
In the promo for the episode, Dean tells Chuck that only him is the only one that can stop Amara and he has the biggest reasons too. But for Chuck, there's no reason to oppose Amara.
But in the previous "Supernatural" season 11 episode, Metatron's big speech about humanity being his greatest creation, made him realize the humankind is worth the fight.
This brings Chuck to "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21 with an attitude of determination towards defeating his sister. But before he goes on to save the world, God will have to work on gaining Dean and Sam's trust to get them to help.
"We all have the same goal — we want to try to stop her. We have different reasons for why, but ultimately, what we have to do is be on the same team and trust each other," Rob Benedict, who plays Chuck in "Supernatural," told TV Line.
"First on my plate as God is to get them to trust me, because I need them to be my boots on the ground, and we need to work together again," he went on to say.
Benedict feels that he won't find it difficult to have Dean and Sam onboard, thanks to "a lot of love" between his character and the Winchester brothers.
The actor revealed that this closeness will be further demonstrated in "Supernatural" season 11, episode 21. Though the promo for the episode is already proof of this, as Dean was seen giving Chuck the pep talk.
Whatever they have to do, they will need to do fast because Castiel is now on the receiving end of Amara's wrath. Every time the issue draws out, it's the angel who has to suffer.
Dean can no longer watch Castiel put up with all of it, as the angel has been in grave danger ever since Lucifer took control of him.
