Kim Rhodes is set to return to the "Supernatural" cast line-up to reprise her role as Officer Jody Mills in the 11th season of the horror comedy television series.

Rhode's last appearance was in episode 8 of season 10 where she was captured by a nest of vampires after she attends a retreat. The nest was taken down at the end of the show, and everyone was okay. According to Entertainment Weekly, Rhodes will be making her re-entry in episode 12 of "Supernatural," which is titled "Don't You Forget About Me."

Rhodes plays Sheriff Jody Mills, a police officer who is friend and ally to the Winchester brothers in taking down ghouls and ghosts. She takes in two rescued girls, Claire and Alex, to form a family, but her return may bring new dangers to the little posse. "Sheriff Mills, who's taken in Claire and Alex, has a case fall a bit too close to home," Supernatural showrunner Jeremy Carver commented in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

On Twitter, Rhodes also implied the possibility of the show killing off Sheriff Mills by saying that she has left the fate of the character to the creators, and requested from fans to not ask her to keep the character from being killed.

The eleventh season has so far brought back two old characters: Sheriff Donna Hanscum and Lucifer.

"Supernatural" is entered on Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dead (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, hunters who chase after demons, ghosts, monsters, and other beings to protect the world from supernatural threats. The show first aired back in Sept. 5, 2006 under the banner of The WB television network, but was later adopted by the CW.

The show has received positive responses most from critics, with Rotten Tomatoes giving "Supernatural" an average Tomatometer score of 91 percent for its eleven seasons. Six of its seasons have received a score of 100 percent from the critic website.

"Supernatural" will return from its holiday break on Jan. 20, 2016.
