The CW's hit TV series "Supernatural" will introduce an interesting and fun twist in the upcoming episode this week. Season 13 has offered the clash of demons against demons and the apocalyptic version of the real world, although there will be quite a breath of fresh air from all these as episode 16 will feature an unlikely crossover between "Supernatural" and the classic cartoon series "Scooby-Doo."

It appears that the culprit behind the Winchesters' trip to the "Scooby-Doo" world in "Supernatural" season 13 episode 16 is a magical television set in a pawnshop. The pawnshop owner will offer the brothers to take the TV, but little do they know that accepting this item will lead them to their most unforgettable experience yet.

"Supernatural" season 13 episode 16 will specifically play the 1970's "Scooby-Doo" classic title called "A Night of Fright Is No Delight." It is already expected that Sam, Dean and Castiel will be dealing with cartoonish creatures from the "Scooby-Doo" world such as zombies and ghosts. However, the trio will eventually learn that the culprit behind all this is lurking in the real world. It is important for them to stay alive in this "Scooby-Doo" episode, as dying in the cartoon world would mean an actual death.

According to the official synopsis of "Supernatural" season 13 episode 16, titled "Scoobynatural," Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester will find themselves trapped inside the "Scooby-Doo" dimension. Together with Castiel (Misha Collins), they must figure a way to "play this out" and return to their real world. Nevertheless, this will be an opportunity for them to meet the whole "Scooby-Doo" squad that includes Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred.

Among the three of them, Dean has the most expertise inside the "Scooby-Doo" world as he was a fan of the show growing up. His geeking out on the cartoon series promises plenty of laughs and comedy moments but it could also play a key role in helping them make it through the episode alive.

"Supernatural" season 13 episode 16 will air on March 29th, Tuesday, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
