In the next episode of "Supernatural," Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and his brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the deaths of multiple patients of grief counselor Mia Vallens (Rukiya Bernard).

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Big Empty" was released just recently and showed Sam and Dean driving to the town where the murders took place. They bring along Jack (Alexander Calvert) to keep an eye on him as well as to teach him about what they do. "When a person dies and the soul can't move on," Sam tells Jack halfway. "They're called ghosts," Dean interrupts as Jack tries to understand. They go to a cemetery to check on a corpse who seemingly was the patient of grief counselor Vallens. They dig up the grave and open the coffin. "We're dealing with a whole new set of tiddlywinks now," Dean says as he lights the corpse on fire.

Apparently, Sam and Dean want to burn the bodies of the corpses so that their souls can move on to the next phase. This supposedly could solve the mysterious incidents surrounding their deaths. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if the investigation will be put to rest and if the corpses will find peace in the next life.

In the previous episode, Sam and Dean went after a murderous wraith (John Cor) who took a liking for draining psychics. The wraith targeted Patience (Clark Backo) who was the granddaughter of a family friend of the Winchesters. Patience was able to see into the future and determine the killer's moves. She helped Dean by telling him the wraith's advanced actions. The deadly creature was caught and killed while Patience fled to safety.

"Supernatural" season 13 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
