Surface Pro 3 vs Nokia N1 specs: battle of impressive tablets

Nokia's first venture in the tablet market might not have been expected from the Finnish company, but people are starting to notice the impressive specs of the soon-to-be released device from the former mobile phone provider.

With sleek, functional design, high-end internal features, as well as a built-in Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, the new Nokia N1 can take on any leading tablet in the market today.

But can it be pitted against a tablet-laptop hybrid device like the Surface Pro 3, which happens to be manufactured by Microsoft, the company that bought Nokia's mobile phone manufacturing arm?

Here is a comparison between the two portable computing devices:

The third generation of Microsoft's Surface Pro line is a great improvement to the earlier editions of the device.

The 12-inch tablet-laptop hybrid has a body dimension of 11.5 x 7.93 x 0.36 inches and weighs 1.76 pounds. It has ClearType LCD touchscreen display with 1440 x 2160 resolution. Under the hood, the Surface Pro 3 has an Intel Core i3 CPU and Intel GPU, with Intel i5 and i7 options. There are also several variants to choose from, including the 64 GB and 128 GB models with 4 GB RAM, and the 256 GB and 512 GB models with 8 GB RAM.

Since the Nokia N1 is still unreleased as of the moment, it would be hard to find out it it can fare better than the newly released Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet.
