The 31st season of "Survivor" is well into its seventh week as former contestants from different seasons returned for a second chance in hopes of winning the grand prize this time around.

In the sixth episode, Terry was flown out of Cambodia as his son had a medical emergency, while fan favorite Woo was voted out of the game by Ciera, Kass, and Abi. In the Nov. 4th episode of the hit CBS show titled "Play to Win," the contestants got another surprise as it was announced that there wasn't going to be a tribe swap but a merge, forming the largest tribe in the series' history with 13 members.

While the tribe celebrated the merge with a feast, tensions were high as everyone scrambled to form an alliance. Andrew talked to Jeremy and the two decided that having Joe with them, along with Stephen, Tasha, and Kimmi, was the right way to go. Meanwhile, Kass and Kelley seemed to think that an alliance with Ciera, Spencer, Abi, Keith, and Joe would make sense.

But while Kass was able to escape elimination last week, things were not going so well for her at all as she tried to get some info from Tasha on the Bayon alliance. But having learned from their time together in Cagayan, Tasha decided not to trust Kass and lied to her that the alliance has dissolved. Kass didn't seem to believe her and repeated what Tasha said to the others to make her look bad, but Andrew thought that perhaps it's time that Kass when home. At tribal council, almost the entire tribe wanted Kass out, and she went to Spencer and begged him to send Tasha home instead. But in the end, Kass was sent home.

Next week, in the episode titled "You Call, We'll Haul," the players will continue to be in one tribe as they find ways to strengthen their alliances. Joe has become a favorite of both groups, which is no surprise as he has been outstanding in the immunity challenges so far. But next week, will he finally choose who to form an alliance with? Though Joe joined the Bayon alliance during tribal council to split the votes between Ciera and Kass, there is a chance that he could still change his mind and join the Ta Keo group.

"Survivor" airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
