Originally beginning with 20 participants, the castaways of "Survivor" season 34 have been reduced to just eight individuals fighting to survive and claim the title of being the Sole Survivor of the hit CBS series.

"Survivor" season 34 was called "Game Changers" for a reason according to host Jeff Probst in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The title alone has predicted the entire season so far. The reality series from CBS has gone and brought back all the twists and turns that truly challenged the participants. Alliances were formed and the castaways challenged each other as a team and as their own person. With the ending nearing and only two episodes left, "Survivor" season 34 is expected to reach the finale with a definite bang.

The preview for the next episode features a thrilling situation for Cirie Fields, who may decide to take a next step that can either get her closer to the coveted title or place her at a disadvantage that she might not be able to come out of. Her performance has so far been phenomenal but the next episode looks like it will truly test her abilities as a castaway and survivor.

The previous episode featured a lot of strategy and self-serving moves by the participants. According to a recap by Inside Survivor, the remaining eight are at a point where they have to ask what kind of threat is the most apparent and how they can squirm their way out and make it to the final three of "Survivor" season 34. Alliances are slowly breaking down and the recent encouragement from the cast's loved ones only served to fire up their determination and will. With how things are going, it looks like "Survivor: Game Changers" is on track for a dramatic finish.

"Survivor" season 34 airs every Wednesday night on CBS.
