Bay (Vanessa Marano) will be hosting a baby shower for Lily (Rachel Shenton) and Toby's (Lucas Grabeel) offspring in the upcoming episode of the ABC Family series "Switched at Birth."

In "A Mad Tea Party," Cartermatt reports that Bay will take over manning the party for the new Kennish baby. However, what is supposed to be a happy occasion turns into a disaster when things begin to fall apart among the guests. Regina (Constance Marie) cannot stay for the festivity due to an emergency involving Will (Sayeed Shahidi). Meanwhile, Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and Professor Marillo (Bess Armstrong) get into an argument, with Daphne (Katie Leclerc) caught in the middle.

If these are not enough to spoil the fun, Lily is stressing over how others will take the news of her decision. Does this have something to do with the process of giving birth? Last episode, she had false contractions. After returning from the hospital, she admitted to Toby that she was scared about the baby. Toby assured her that was normal and that he felt scared too. Lily then revealed that the baby was a boy.

Meanwhile, Bay and Daphne's love life was front and center last week. Bay finally admitted to Garrett (Nyle DiMarco) what was bothering her in their relationship. She was worried that he was a lot experienced than her. For his part, Garrett said that he was a newbie in the relationship thingy and if that did not bother Bay, they have a chance of making it work.

As for Daphne, she learned that she's not Josh's (Austin Cauldwell) crush but Mingo (Adam Hagenbuch). The truth came out after her boyfriend confronted Josh if he had feelings for Daphne. Josh answered by attempting to kiss Mingo. When Daphne approached Josh, she voiced out her concern about his relationship with his girlfriend. Josh said they were calling it quits and that Daphne should quit texting other boys because Mingo was serious about her.

"Switched at Birth" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
