Turn-based strategy fans better get ready to rumble, as "Tactical Monsters: Rumble Arena" has finally been announced for Steam early access.

Developer and publisher Camex Games has now placed their turn-based monster strategy game under the early access status, meaning the game can now be played since it already has a main quest, though it is still incomplete and has a lot of bugs and glitches. The game is set to be a sequel to 2015's hit turn-based game "Heroes Tactics," which was released on the PC, iOS, and Android.

As such, "Tactical Monsters" is also now available on Android devices, with an iOS release being planned later on in the year. It also seems that the early access version of the game on PC is set to become a huge hit since it is ranked as the 39th best strategy game in the U.S. Android Marketplace at the moment.

Like its predecessor, "Tactical Monsters" focuses on quick three to five-minute battles instead of long, drawn-out engagements from other strategy games. The developers have also stated that the game's main goal is about winning as many battles as players can in just a short period of time. Despite the early access status, the game is free-to-play, though players can still spend real life money in-game in order to gain bonuses without playing too much. This way, the developers can still earn income.

Gameplay in "Tactical Monsters" revolves around several turns and a squad of heroes, both of which are the highlight of the game. Each player starts on the opposite side of a hexagon-filled arena where each member of the squad occupies their own hexagon and can move to other adjacent ones until they reach the enemy. If they're melee, ranged characters can attack from a distance and do not need to traverse several hexagons to attack. Players can either battle it out with artificial intelligence (AI) or other players in a one versus one match.

"Tactical Monsters: Rumble Arena" is now available on Steam for free and is on early access for now.
