Today's game between the 2-3 Buccaneers and the 2-4 Redskins features two of the worst quarterbacks in the league this season so far.

Rookie Jameis Winston has shown signs of his potential but is still very much someone learning the ropes of the NFL this season. He is ranking a lowly 32 out of 34 qualifiers with a 56.6 completion percentage coming into Week 7 of the season. He also has the unwanted accolade of being the league's worst quarterback for interception percentage.

Opposite him today is another struggling quarterback. Kirk Cousins has been picked off repeatedly this season and is ranking 34th with just 9.40 yards per completion.

Both quarterbacks have passer ratings of below 80, so fans might expect to see both teams rely heavily on their running games today.

Winston himself has said, "I'm really nobody in this league yet so they don't really have to worry about me. I have great teammates that do a great job and we have a great team. That's I think the biggest thing about this league is, you have complete team wins."

Meanwhile, Cousins can expect to remain the starting quarterback for the Redskins for the time being. Cousins himself has said, "I don't think it's going to help us to hit the panic button. I don't think it's going to help us to be completely relaxed. I think in the middle lies virtue. You've got to have a balance."

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football, the Seattle Seahawks destroyed the San Francisco 49ers 20-3 as they shut down the 49ers' offense to great affect.

San Francisco were not even able to get onto the scoreboard until the second half, and when they did it would be a solitary field goal effort in the third quarter.

That result gave the Seahawks their fourth straight win over the 49ers, and it will have pleased them to dump San Francisco down to the depths of 2-5, effectively ending any lingering thoughts that the 49ers had of being able to make the Playoffs.

The Seahawks have been gaining a reputation for having fourth quarter collapses this season, and that has undermined their efforts for their division race. But there was to be no repeat of those collapses on Thursday, as they gained their first road win in four attempts to go 3-4 and within touching distance of a more mediocre .500 record.

On Thursday Night Football, quarterback Russell Wilson completed 10 of his first 12 passes to impose himself on the game, and finished the game with 235 yards passing. However, he was also alarmingly sacked five times as his team failed to give him adequate protection.

Marshawn Lynch scored a spectacular touchdown, jumping the pile for a one yard score, and overall ran for 122 yards, although the most memorable moment for many about Lynch's performance on Thursday may have been when he vomited on the sidelines in the first half.
