Despite the ongoing divorce proceedings, estranged couple Tarek and Christina El Moussa will return on TV together for the seventh season of "Flip or Flop" on HGTV.

"While the couple has separated, each one has turned the page to a new life that includes a continued commitment to running their house flipping business together and delivering fresh episodes of 'Flip or Flop,'" the network stated on its website.

Variety reveals the seventh season order of "Flip or Flop" will feature a total of 20 episodes. This will make it the longest season of the real estate reality show to date. This will end all previous rumors claiming the show will be canceled due to the couple's marital problems.

In an exclusive statement posted on People, the female half of the "Flip or Flop" couple said: "Tarek and I have been working together for a long time and we look forward to continuing to work together on 'Flip or Flop.'"

On the other hand, Tarek stated: "From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for 'Flip or Flop.'"

The real estate agents-turned-reality show hosts reportedly ended their six-year marriage in May 2016, but they only announced their separation in December of the same year. However, the two continue to film for the episodes of the HGTV show despite their estrangement.

The couple shares two children together. Their eldest is a girl named Taylor Reese, while the youngest is a boy named Brayden James. Tarek officially filed for divorce from his wife in January this year.

Details about the upcoming "Flip or Flop" season 7 remain under wraps, but reports claim that the reality series will return to HGTV by December this year.
