Lady Gaga has been getting recognition and praises for her performances this year. Last month, the "Born This Way" singer won a Golden Globe award in the Best Actress category for her role as the Countess in "American Horror Story: Hotel" and this month, the pop star dazzled the crowd at Levi's Stadium with her rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl 50.

Lady Gaga's fiancé, Taylor Kinney, recently spoke with reporters saying how proud he is of the 29-year old.

"I'm just proud. I just wanted her to take her time and really just enjoy the moment for what it was," Kinney told People about the singer's Super Bowl performance. He added that to be onstage in front of so many people at the year's most watched sporting event while representing the country "was a pretty big deal."

The "Chicago Fire" actor revealed to E! News that the "Applause" singer was "really excited" and "anxious" leading up to the performance.

"I remember her saying before she was getting a lot of emails, text messages, I guess social media was getting in touch," said the 34-year-old. Kinney said that his fiancée "belted out a pretty amazing rendition" and was relaxed and calm during her performance.

The pop star will be busy in the coming days as she is set to perform a tribute to David Bowie at the Grammys on Feb. 15. Lady Gaga will also be performing her song "Til It Happens To You" from the documentary "The Hunting Ground" at the Oscars on Feb. 28. The song, co-written by Lady Gaga with Diane Warren, is nominated for Best Original Song at this year's Academy Awards.

The actor was also asked about the couple's plans for Valentine's Day, which marks the first anniversary of their engagement. Kinney proposed with a heart-shaped diamond ring on Valentine's Day last year, but this year the actor said that the singer will be working at the Grammys.

"I don't think I'm going to the Grammys, but if I can—if I get the time, I'll go out and be with her, yes," he said.
