Taylor Swift Tour 2018 dates, ticket prices update: Swift's 35-stadium tour will kick off with Camila Cabello and Charli XCX as support acts
Taylor Swift is going full speed ahead in building her "Reputation" this 2018. The pop-country music star has officially released tour dates for her 35-stadium tour, which will kick off on May 8 at Glendale, Arizona. Furthermore, she announced through a video on her Twitter page that her chosen front acts will be former member of the girl group "Fifth Harmony" Camila Cabello and pop singer Charli XCX.

In the video, Swift says, "I've been wanting to tell you this for a really long time." After making the big announcement, she adds, "I'm really excited. I hope you are too. And I can't wait to see you, cant wait to see them. Really excited about the whole thing, just in general."
Cabello's recent single titled "Havana" is enjoying massive airplay worldwide, and she has recently been awarded as a Breakthrough Artist at the 2017 Billboard Women in Music Awards. She also recently made waves after making an impassioned speech in support of the "DREAMers" like her at the 2018 Grammy Awards. In a post on her Instagram, Cabello excitedly says, "as the girl who had a Taylor swift poster in her room when she was 14 and wanted SO BADLY to go to the speak now tour... ITS A DREAM." As for her co-opening act, she says, "also, @charli_xcx WHO I ADORE, WHAT?!!!!!! this is going to be so much fun!!!!"
British star Charli XCX took to Twitter to express her sentiments about the coming tour.
woke up this morning and was like, oh shit, it’s not a dream, i really am going on tour with @taylorswift13 and @Camila_Cabello and it’s going to be a totally wild/crazy/girl power situation. HELL YEAH
The singer-actress also jokingly posted about her willingness to volunteer to be the "bad influence" on the said tour.
The 35-stadium tour will set Swift and her friends on a whirlwind nationwide adventure spanning California, Texas, Washington, Colorado, Chicago, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, Florida, Nashville, Michigan, Minneapolis, Missouri, and New Orleans. She will also be flying off to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to finish off the tour by Nov. 9.
Tickets start at $69.50 up to $99.50 for standard tickets, and VIP seats go for around $499-$899 on Ticketmaster. Ticketing options are also available on Swift's official events website.
