Taylor Swift is said to be one of the biggest and most powerful people in the music industry today. The singer made headlines when she wrote an open letter to Apple Music this weekend criticizing the company for not paying royalties during its three-month trial period for its streaming service. Soon after, the company responded and announced that they have had a change of heart and will pay artists, even during the 90-day trial period.

Aside from crusading for the rights of new artists as stated in her letter, the "Blank Space" singer is currently in the middle of her "1989" World Tour, and while the 25-year old was in the United Kingdom, she spoke to ITV news about, among other things, where she sees herself in 10 years.

The singer told ITV that she hopes to have a family by then, but she admitted that she worries about protecting her future children due to her fame. The "Shake it Off" singer said that she admires Angelina Jolie for being able to raise all of her six children under the constant scrutiny of the media.

With tabloids and the paparazzi always looking to pounce on tidbits about her life, the singer told The Telegraph last March that she'd probably still be single by the time she's 30.

"Let's be honest. No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it," she said at the time.

Currently, the singer is dating EDM DJ Calvin Harris, and recently, the 25-year old appeared to have confirmed their relationship in an Instagram post showing the two of them floating on a pool aboard an inflatable swan. The pair was also photographed looking very cuddly at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, and this week, Harris gave Swift a shout-out on Twitter after her Apple victory, calling her "my girl."

"I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry what a day," Harris wrote.
