"Teen Mom 2" season 7 is currently filming but news on cast members Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans makes fans wonder what the upcoming season would bring.

The latest update on Messer is that she is spotted with her ex, Jeremy Calvert, but not in the way that most people think. The ex-couple were seen together for the sake of his stepdaughter, Ali, who was performing at a recital, according to InTouch Weekly.

Calvert, who only had one child with Messer, was stepfather to Messer's twins with first husband Corey Simms. Calvert helped Messer with raising Ali and Aleeah.

Calvert on Monday shared on Instagram a picture of his daughter with Messer, two-year-old Addie, who was also there supporting her big sister's recital. For this move, Calvert was praised by his ex who tweeted saying that just because he is her ex, it doesn't mean that their child will also become his ex.

Messer and Calvert seem to have maintained a civil relationship for the sake of their kids, but this doesn't mean that a reconciliation is likely since the former seems committed to her new beau, T.R. Dues, InTouch reported.

While things are going great for Messer and her ex, the same thing cannot be said about Jenelle Evans.

As previously reported, Evans took to Twitter her threatening announcement that she's quitting the reality series.

According to her posts, which have since been deleted, the show seems to continue focusing more on her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith. Her expressed dismay was also believed to be fueled by rumors of Griffith being engaged to current girlfriend, Jessica Henry.

Griffith, on the other hand, denied rumors of any engagement and insisted that he and Henry are having a great time together, but that didn't stop the 23-year-old Evans to voice out her opinion on social media.

Evans even posted that she's firm in her decision to quit the show, which she claims have already lost focus on filming teen parents.
