'Teen Mom OG' star Catelynn Lowell continues to focus on mental health

Catelynn Lowell will continue focusing on her mental health ahead of the "Teen Mom OG" reunion.

After spending 40 days in a rehab facility, the MTV star finally finished her treatment and has finally gone home. Although she has already completed the program, mental health will continue to be Lowell's priority.

"Even though Catelynn was released from inpatient treatment to deal with her devastating miscarriage, she will continue with treatment as an outpatient," an insider told Us Weekly. "She was ready to be released for a few days ahead of going to New York City to film for the reunion."

As previously announced, Catelynn will be joining her co-stars for the "Teen Mom OG" reunion that will be filmed in New York City this month. Her doctors have communicated with the show's producers to make sure that things go well for Catelynn while filming for the intense and emotional episode.

"MTV has always been extremely supportive of Catelynn and her treatment," a different insider told the media outlet. "Naturally, this will continue during filming of the reunion. If at any time it becomes too intense for Catelynn, she knows to just ask for a break in filming."

Monday's episode of "Teen Mom OG" revealed that Catelynn suffered a miscarriage. Her husband Tyler Baltierra revealed to a producer that he got extremely emotional after finding out about Catelynn's miscarriage. The episode also saw Catelynn heading to the airport to enter a rehab facility in Arizona after having suicidal thoughts.

The mother of one realized it was time to get professional help when she had contemplated "every way" she could kill herself. While Catelynn has been away, Tyler admitted that he had his own mental health struggles to deal with. He explained that he managed to stay strong because of their three-year-old daughter, Nova.
