As superhero-themed TV series seem to be all the rave these days, one up and coming series could interest folks who have followed them through the years via DC comics. Teen Titans (to be known as Titans) has finally gotten past the speculation production period and the cast of characters has finally been revealed.

Fans who watch the animated version will most probably be aware of the actual members of Teen Titans.

Set to appear in the Titan pilot episode is Dick Grayson aka Robin. While Dick will still be known as Robin in the pilot, he will eventually become Nightwing after Robin and Batman part ways. Nightwing will eventually work alone as a private investigator in Boston.

Also in tow is Barbara Gordon or Oracle. Barbara will be the computer hacker of the team, resigned to a wheelchair for still yet to be known reasons.

As for the rest of the team, Hawk and Dove will also be in the kick off cast. The remaining two members (for the meantime) are Raven and Starfire.

Starfire will be the last member to join the group, coming in towards the end of the pilot episode where she would become a regular member of Titans.

Conspicuously absent is Cyborg and Beast Boy. However, the two characters could probably join the group towards the course of the series.

In something related, there is talk that Titans may have a cross-over episode with either the Arrow or the Flash. For comic book junkies who know their heroes well, it will be recalled that there was a Kid Flash and a Red Arrow in the original group.

Though there is still no mention on which members would be added to the group, you have to wonder if Arsenal (from the Arrow) could be inserted into the Titan lineup. As far as the Flash is concerned, there is no sign that a Kid Flash does exist so a cross-over between Titans and the Arrow could make sense.
