While the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 5 has yet to premiere early next year, news about a possible movie adaptation of the series are going around online.

The news stemmed from the statement revealed by series showrunner Jeff Davis during the 2015 New York Comic Con, where he said that there is a possibility to bring the show to the big screen in the future. Davis was sked about the film project that he was planning to do with actor Tyler Posey.

According to the showrunner, they could either come up with a "Teen Wolf" movie or a completely different script. However, there is also a possibility that their next project would be something completely different from the show. "Tyler and I also talked about doing a romantic comedy, because I think he's such a good romantic lead," Davis claimed.

Aside from the movie, the cast of "Teen Wolf" also talked with Entertainment Weekly about the show's newest villain after their NYCC 2015 panel. But actors Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, and Cody Christian only gave vague descriptions of the new big bad called "The Beast" to avoid spilling too much information about the show's upcoming plot.

"The name itself tells what this monster creature is. It's a beast," Christian claimed.

But aside from the name, the cast could not divulge more details about the villain since they have limited knowledge about it. "It's ominous. It's scary. But there's not much we can say. Part of it is because we don't know much about it, as actors," Posey revealed.

"Teen Wolf" fans who are attentive could have noticed that The Beast was first introduced in the Dread Doctor's mysterious mural called "La BĂȘte." And based on the image, The Beast could be one of the pack's biggest enemies.

Find out more about The Beast when "Teen Wolf" season 5B airs on Jan. 5, 2016 on MTV.
