Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) was still missing the support of his pack when the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 5 returned. Does this mean that he will have to face the dangerous new villain on his own?

During "Teen Wolf" season 5A, Scott and his trusted best friend Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien) had a falling out because of Donovan's (Ashton Moio) death and he got separated from his entire pack. This makes fighting Theo (Cody Christian) and his group of chimeras a challenge.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Posey shared what fans should look forward to with his character in "Teen Wolf" season 5B, particularly for his pack.

"So first and foremost, [he has] to get the pack back together, but you can't get the pack back together if Stilinski is injured, so we have to get Stilinski healthy and then start regrouping the pack back together," Posey said. "For Scott to rebuild himself, he has to rebuild his pack."

Scott also needs to rebuild his pack as fast as he can because of the threat of a new villain that will be introduced in the coming episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 5.

Series showrunner Jeff Davis revealed in a separate interview that the new villain is created by shadows.

"The chimera that's inside it is sort of surrounded by it," Davis explained. "The person — we don't know whether it's a he or she yet — doesn't necessarily transform like Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk. It's actually more just shadows and darkness take shape around that person."

Davis also revealed that finding out the real identity of the Beast will be one of the biggest mysteries of the season. But while he did not announce the exact date of the revelation of the Beast's real identity, the series showrunner promised that it will be unveiled before the end of season 5.

Meanwhile, the next episode of "Teen Wolf" season 5B airs Tuesday, Jan. 12, on MTV.
