The fourth season of "Teen Wolf" is just a few sleeps away and MTV teased fans hinting that Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Kira (Arden Cho) could be series regulars next season.

In the opening credits of the show's next season, MTV showed Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) with the addition of the new faces in the series including Malia and Kira.

The new opening credits showed Scott rising from the ashes surrounding him while Stiles pulls the same red strings that hinted his insanity in Season 3. Then, Malia and Kira were shown suggesting that the two will play very important roles next season.

"Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis teased fans that the season 4 will kick off showing the gang in Mexico. According to E!News TV Scoop report, the executive producer and series creator revealed that Scott and his friends will be in Mexico because they are on a mission to find and save Derek Hale.

Moreover, the exec producer said that fans will have to look forward to the new mystery and mythology that will drive the next season's plot. "We're basing this mystery in something very personal actually, something that hits at the heart of all our main characters, Scott, Stiles and Lydia, and Derek, especially. This is going to be a big season for Derek. I think people are going to be surprised," Davis said.

Part of the new things to watch out for next season is the new villain called The Benefactor. The new antagonist was hinted in a batch of leaked production sketches emerged online. Moreover, actress Meagan Tandy retweeted the image that sparked the rumors that Braeden was the woman in the sketches. However, Tandy denied the speculations.

Meanwhile, "Teen Wolf" season 4 will have 12 episodes, which is half of last season's episodes. Davis said that he needed a break and fewer episodes will allow the actors of the series to explore other opportunities.

"Teen Wolf" will be back on air on Monday night, June 23, 10 PM at MTV.
