Beacon Hills will welcome a new character in the upcoming season of "Teen Wolf." 

MTV earlier announced via the "Teen Wolf" official Twitter account that Cody Christian will join the rest of the cast in season 5. The 19-year-old actor is known for portraying the role of Mike Montgomery in "Pretty Little Liars," the brother of one of the Liars in The CW's hit teen thriller. Currently, Mike is one of the biggest suspects who could turn out to be "A," the tormentor of the Liars.

In "Teen Wolf," Christian will allegedly give life to the new character named Theo, who happens to be a lone wolf who comes to Beacon Hills to find a pack that will accept him. According to MTV's description, Theo is "athletic and charming yet covert, and while it may appear that the young adult is new to town, his past might suggest otherwise." 

Does this mean that Theo will join Scott (Tyler Posey), Kira (Arden Cho), Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) on the lacrosse team? Does he also have a connection with the Hale family? 

Posey earlier teased about what fans should expect from the fifth run of the teen horror-drama.

During an interview in E! News late last year, the actor said, "It's going to be bad*ss. Like, it's another thing we haven't done before." 

He also added that he is very excited for the new season since he only knows very few details about its plot. But the part that he knows is very explosive, which fans should watch out for. 

Posey is now one of the co-producers of the popular teen horror series. He announced his new task in the show in his Instagram account, saying: "There it is boys and girls! Tyler Posey co-producer! Holy sh-- I couldn't be more proud and excited. It's going to be a good year :) #spreadsomelove." 

"Teen Wolf" season 5 started filming on Feb. 9, and it is expected to be released sometime in June.
