Malia (Shelley Hennig) has not given up on rescuing Deaton (Seth Gilliam) from the Desert Wolf (Marisol Nichols) in the upcoming episode of the hit MTV series "Teen Wolf."

In "The Sword and the Spirit," TV.com reports that the werecoyote will be getting a new ally in her quest to get back the doctor from her vengeful mother. Before the series went on its winter hiatus, Deaton was following a trail that led him to the Dread Doctors' secret lair. While there, he got captured and interrogated by the Desert Wolf. She wanted to know if Malia was alive, as she, apparently, heard rumors that her daughter survived that car crash that killed her adoptive mother and sister.

Deaton denied knowing Malia, and the Desert Wolf warned him that if she was not dead, she would be soon. It remains unclear, though, why she wanted Malia out. Now that Malia has found another person to help her locate Deaton, viewers can expect that she will go all-out to find her mother. This means, of course, that the werecoyote is putting herself in grave danger. Will she be able to come out of the encounter alive? Perhaps the better question should be, what is the motive of her newfound friend, who happens to be villainous Theo (Cody Christian), in helping her?

Last episode, the leader of the chimaera offered Malia something she had trouble turning down. Theo told her that he could assist her in finding Deaton. When she asked how he would be able to accomplish that, he boasted of the Dread Doctors' capacity to find almost anyone. While Malia has not given her answer yet, her expression showed she would bite the bait. Malia would give anything to hurt her mother, as she holds her responsible for killing the people she loved.

Also in episode 13, Kira (Arden Cho) finally reunited with her boyfriend Scott (Tyler Posey). Along with Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Kira's mother, Scott managed to save her from skinwalkers who wanted to transform her to be just like them. They were afraid of Kira's power and her inability to control it. It is important to note, though, that while the kitsune may have rejoined her friends, the fox's power may still consume her anytime.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
