'Teen Wolf' season 5 episode 9 spoilers: Parrish's true identity revealed

Deputy Parrish's identity will soon be exposed in "Teen Wolf" season 5. MTV

The time may have finally come for the viewers to know the real identity of Parrish (Ryan Kelley) in the upcoming episode of MTV's hit series "Teen Wolf."

In "Lies of Omission," TV Guide reports that Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) are onto Parrish after the revelation that he was the one stealing bodies from the morgue back in episode 8. Now, they are hunting him down to seek the truth. Will Stiles and Lydia finally know who he is?

Kelley has been dropping hints about the big reveal and sources say that fans will be shocked when they eventually figure out the answer. In an interview with TV Line, the actor teased that before season 5A ends, his character's supernatural side will finally be exposed.

He also recalled how executive producer Jeff Davis told him who Parrish was, saying the EP just walked up to him then dropped the bomb like nothing happened. When asked if it was a creature he has heard of, Kelley said it came as no surprise to him, as he is "a big nerd" and has been researching a lot about "everything supernatural, Greek mythology, all that."

"I had a pretty good handful of things I thought Parrish was, so it didn't shock me."

As for Parrish being the good or the bad guy in the series, the actor was also unsure. He also admitted that his character also did not know yet what he was, and that may be the turning point in the story.

"He's kind of in limbo right now. You see him carrying these bodies and you're not sure if he's working with the Doctors or not. He works in the sheriff's department and he was in the military. Anything's possible on 'Teen Wolf.'"

Meanwhile, also in episode 9, Scott (Tyler Posey) will turn to an unlikely ally for help. The show's promo hints that it may be to protect the chimeras. Will it be Theo (Cody Christian), who has again managed to prove his "worth" to the pack last episode? And what about Kira (Arden Cho) leaving Beacon Hills? Will this affect the Alpha's frame of mind?

"Teen Wolf" airs on Monday at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
