"Teen Wolf" is gearing up for another action-packed season. The filming is about to start and the air date for the new season is partially confirmed, too. So, what are the details about season 5 so far?

For one, the first episode of the season is titled "Creatures of the Night." Show creator Jeff Davis posted a snapshot of the episode title on his Instagram account. Movie Pilot was able to capture it, but it is already deleted. It is uncertain, however, why the photo was deleted because writer Angela Harvey confirmed the same episode title.

In a tweet addressed to a fan, she said, "We're a long way off from the cutting room still so it could possibly change. But the completed script is Creatures of the Night." 

Next, actor Tyler Posey gave his own piece about what season 5 will be. His statement surely doesn't help keep the expectations down. 

"It's going to be badass. Like, it's another thing we haven't done before. I'm really excited. It's cool because I know nothing about the season, I only know one part of it. But it's so badass that I would watch the entire season just for this one part," Posey dished to E! Online. 

Posey sure is excited about starting filming. His earlier statement about production starting in December 2014 didn't push through. Instead, their break was extended and they are now going to start filming this February. As for the air date, writer and producer Eric Wallace told GeekNation that it will air this June. 

So, what is going down in season 5? Movie Pilot shares that the mystery behind Jordan Parrish's character will be revealed. Fans speculate that he could either be a dragon or a phoenix. Season 5 will dwell more into his supernatural powers. 

As for Peter, he will not stay in Eichen House too long. According to MP, he might break out of the mental institution sooner than expected. 

Lastly, Malia's biological mother is confirmed to be a part of season 5. When season 4 ended, Maila was looking for Desert Wolf, the nickname she knew of her mother. However, she was having a hard time doing so. In the new season, it will be seen how Maila tracks her mother down and possibly, the development of a mother-daughter relationship.
