It is said that season 6 of "Teen Wolf," being the final run of the series, will herald the return of a fan-favorite character.

Speculations suggest that with final season of the teen horror drama, star Tyler Hoechlin will be making his comeback to the show. According to The Wrap, Hoechlin's appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside series star J.R. Bourne, is already a tell-tale giveaway. In addition, it is confirmed that Hoechlin will only be doing at least two episodes for another show, "Supergirl." This means that his schedule will permit him time for production for "Teen Wolf" season 6.

However, aside from teases, Hoechlin has not officially claimed his return.

Meanwhile, the industry follower also said that according to Bourne, season 6 being the final run for the show also came as a shock for the cast and crew. The "Teen Wolf" star stated, "I think we all feel quite good with how we're ending it."

Bourne added that although the rest of the show has done good telling its tale, it will be a bittersweet farewell for the series.

"We've told all these crazy, amazing stories, and I feel really good that we're going out the way we are. But it'll be missed, absolutely." On the other hand, the star also mentioned how season 6 "... is going to be one of the best seasons so far because of what we're going to be dealing with, especially with Scott and Lydia and that gang."

The panel also touched on the status of another "Teen Wolf" star, Dylan O'Brien, on which Bourne said his friend "is doing great." The star has been seriously injured during filming of the upcoming "Maze Runner" sequel earlier this year.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 is scheduled to premiere in Nov. 15 on MTV.
