Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated seventh installment of the "Tekken" fighting video game. It reveals that players will be able to enjoy new modes in the game.

The trailer, which is narrated in Japanese, gives viewers a sneak peek at what can be expected from the story mode in "Tekken 7," as well as the online mode, in which a player can challenge other players in large numbers, and the character customization mode, in which players can change the characters' aesthetics.

According to a report on WWG, extra content will also be released months after the game's initial release in June. Although there has yet to be a confirmation from Bandai Namco as to what the new content will include, the publication states that two new fighters from different video games, which have not yet been specified as of now, will soon be incorporated into the roster.

In other news, the staple character Roger Jr., the kangaroo with the boxing gloves, will not be returning for "Tekken 7." This is due to protests from animal activists who see the wrong in including such animal in the game, where it can be virtually punched.

Executive producer Katsuhiro Harada spoke with VG 24/7 and explained, "There was a video of a man's dog being head-locked by a kangaroo, and he punched it in the face. It turned into a big problem. People were complaining about him punching a kangaroo." He added, "It seems that in the last few years there's a lot more animal activists — even though they probably wouldn't play our game they would still hear about that, about a kangaroo in our game being punched, and would complain about it."

Other animals in the game, such as Panda and Kuma, are still included in the roster.

"Tekken 7" will be released on June 2 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
