"Tekken 7" will be welcoming back a well-known character from the franchise's early days.

The new character being added to the game is none other than Nina Williams, and this time around, the fan favorite is decked out in what appears to be a bridal gown.

Nina is being added to the arcade version of "Tekken 7" via the "Fated Retribution" update, Polygon reported.

Nina has been dubbed as the "Fatal Bride" in a newly released trailer showcasing some of her moves, and that would seemingly indicate that her current outfit will be her standard attire inside the game.

Aside from Nina, there are other characters being added to "Tekken 7" via the "Fated Retribution" update.

As GameSpot reported, Akuma is also going to be a part of "Tekken 7." Akuma's addition is noteworthy, mainly because he originally hails from the "Street Fighter" franchise. The storyline of the "Fated Retribution" update is also expected to prominently feature Akuma.

Currently, "Tekken 7" is only available in arcades across Japan, although the game is expected to make its way to the PlayStation 4 (PS4).

The console version of the new fighting game is also expected to differ quite a bit from its arcade counterpart.

According to director Katsuhiro Harada, the console port of "Tekken 7" will feature new content that is not available in the original arcade version of the game.

This could mean that characters such as Akuma and Nina could be featured inside the console port of "Tekken 7" right from day one as opposed to being added later on as part of an update as is being done for the arcade version.

Unfortunately for players eagerly awaiting the arrival of "Tekken 7" on consoles, it looks like they will still have to wait for a while. While "Tekken 7" is expected to be released for the PS4 sometime in 2016, Bandai Namco has yet to announce a specific launch date.
