Bandai Namco confirmed that the scheduled "Tekken 7" location tests that will be conducted in selected Japanese arcades from Oct. 3 to 5 will have an online streaming through Niconico.

Avoiding the Puddle reported that the Namco Sugamo arcade located in Tokyo and the Namco Nipponbashi arcade based in Osaka will conduct the said location test for "Tekken 7" in the coming days. Those who will attend the testing will be allowed to play the latest installment of the Tekken series for free, and they will be allowed to play against others from the other arcade online.

On the other hand, Attack of the Fanboy shared that the players can use four fighters from the new game. Fans are speculating that the said fighters include Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi, as well as the new female character named Catalina. However, no official confirmation about the final roster of characters had been released as of the moment.

Japanese website Niconico will stream the said tests twice this week. One will be on the scheduled test on Oct. 3, while the other one will be on Oct. 4. Both will begin at 8:30 p.m., and anyone outside Japan will be able to watch it as long as they have registered online.

The ninth installment of the popular fighting game series had been initially unveiled by Namco's Katsuhiro Harada during the 2014 Evolution Championship Series.

Harada also divulged that the new Tekken game will use the Unreal Engine 4, which can pave the way to bringing the arcade game to other consoles like the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

"With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it. Not only is Unreal Engine 4 is powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire," Harada said.

According to speculations, "Tekken 7" will be released in March 2015. However, the game developers or Bandai Namco have not released an official statement about it yet.
