Already confirmed for early 2017 release, publisher Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showcasing the focus of "Tekken 7."

In the new video footage taken from the recently-concluded Golden Joystick Awards, "Tekken 7" has been fleshed out as an on-going feud within the Mishima clan. In addition, the new trailer also highlights some of the confirmed details in the upcoming sequel, including the addition of the only non-franchise character, Akuma. It has been revealed in previous teasers that Akuma will play a central role in the story, and the new "Tekken 7" footage confirms it.

In addition, the new trailer also focuses on some of the veteran fighters of the franchise like Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law. In addition, it also gives a brief glimpse of Nina Williams in a wedding dress, hinting at a continuing storyline to its expected DLC, "Tekken 7: Retribution." The footage then segues into one-on-one action sequences that confirm most of the returning and new fighters in the "Tekken 7" roster.

Meanwhile, although the new trailer confirms most of the details on the game, there are still speculations on what fans can expect from "Tekken 7." According to rumors, Bandai Namco will still add some more fighters in the roster, coming out with additional DLCs. Supposedly, the first character that will be added is Lei Wulong, and succeeding DLCs will also add other characters like Roger Jr., Anna Williams, Zafina and Julia Chang.

As to when fans cane expect "Tekken 7," it is already revealed that it will come out early next year. However, Bandai Namco has yet to come out with specific release dates for the new game, although it is expected that the publisher will announce it by next month. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that the new game will be launched for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
