In a few weeks, Teresa Giudice will be released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Dansbury, Connecticut as she is about to finish serving her 15-month sentence for fraud. And when she comes home for Christmas, not only will she be reunited with husband Joe and their four daughters, but she can call her home her own once again when she is released from jail on Dec. 23.

According to the reality star's lawyer James J. Leonard Jr., the Giudice home is out of foreclosure and their mortgage is now current.

"Like a lot of people, the Giudices had fallen behind on their mortgage payments, which then puts the home into foreclosure as a way to protect the bank," Leonard explained to People magazine. "Fortunately, they were able to pay back the money owed in full and the home is no longer under the threat of foreclosure."

Back in April, NJ.com reported that the Community Bank of Bergen County filed a notice of foreclosure for the couple's Montville Township mansion and Joe and Teresa reportedly put the property on the market for $2.99 million. Radar Online reported that the couple even slashed the price to $500,000 to attract a buyer, but no one bought the property.

A source also confirmed to Radar that the couple's house is out of foreclosure and that the money that they owed has been paid in full.

"The mortgage is now current. The loan hasn't been paid off, but they are now in good standing with the loan," said the source, adding that a judge is expected to sign off on the agreement between the bank and the Giudices.

The property was prominently featured on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" in previous seasons of the show. According to Radar Online, the mansion has six bedrooms, six bathrooms and sits on more than 10,000 square feet of land.

Leonard told People that losing the property was never an option for the couple.

"Teresa made that very clear to me," Leonard said. "There was no way we were going to let that happen. I am very happy we worked it out."
