Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is three months away from regaining her freedom as she is set to be released from federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut on Dec. 23. The reality TV star has been in prison for fraud since Jan. 5. Recently, her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. gave an update about the mother-of-four, telling E! Online that she is "doing amazing."

Leonard said that his client is in good shape. It has been earlier reported that Giudice has been working out in jail and has even helped some of her fellow inmates by leading exercise classes.

"She's in absolute tip-top shape," he said. "She's rock-hard mentally, physically and emotionally."

Leonard said that people are going to be very surprised with the star once she gets out, saying that "a whole new Teresa" will be coming home. She is also set on getting back to work as it was reported that the 43-year-old celebrity will be back for the seventh season of the Bravo show. Reports claim that Bravo cameras will be rolling to capture Giudice's homecoming in December.

But while her fans are eagerly awaiting her return, Leonard said that the cookbook author will be focusing on her family once she gets out of jail.

"Being with her children, being with her family, being with Joe … and then kind of getting back into whatever she's going to get back into," said Leonard. The lawyer didn't go into details as to what her next project would be, but he revealed that the star has "so many opportunities" that may include television and "getting involved with a restaurant."

The reality star is also set to publish a memoir about her experience inside the prison. Us Weekly released a few excerpts from Giudice's diary last July which revealed her diet, her church visits, and even a scary prison fight which she witnessed.

Leonard said that her focus will be on getting back her freedom and reconnecting with her family, but added that fans should expect to see her shortly after she gets home.
