Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is giving an inside look at her life behind bars. The reality TV star, who is currently serving a 15-month sentence at the Federal Correction Institute in Danbury, Connecticut for fraud charges, has been writing about her experiences in a journal and she plans to use the material for a memoir, according to Us Weekly.

Giudice's attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., told the publication that the memoir will be all about the reality star growing up from humble beginnings, adding, "She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars."

Us Weekly published excerpts from the mother-of-four's diary, which details her daily life behind bars.

During her first day in prison, Giudice relayed that she watched the movie "Jersey Boys" and that it made her cry because at the end, the main character's daughter dies. She also wrote about calling her husband, Joe, who told her that he was brushing their 9-year-old daughter Milania's hair and that their other daughter, 14-year-old Gia, was videotaping them.

The Bravo star also admitted that she broke down in tears when Audriana, 5, asked her whether she was coming home or if she could move in with her in jail. She was also very emotional when Melania asked her if she could be home for her birthday on Feb. 2.

In an entry dated Jan. 26, which was her 21st day in prison, Giudice wrote that she had lunch at 10:20. She revealed that for the meal, she had tater tots, some potato salad, and "a soy burger that was so gross and orange."

"They feed us so much here. I'm going to have potatoes coming out of my ears pretty soon!" the cookbook author added.

Her other entries include her time attending church and witnessing prison fights.

"I enjoy [going to church], it makes me feel good after I go and during," she jotted down on Feb. 1. "I feel like God is really present there with me."

And in an undated entry in February, she wrote, "There is a lady in here, she hit her roommate. The officers are up here now to evaluate the situation."

It has been earlier reported that Giudice gets weekend visits from her family and stays in touch with them through regular emails. On March 16, her 70th day in prison, she detailed how an email from her daughter, Gia, 14, brought her to tears.

Her entry reads, "I got an email from Gia. She got an award for perseverance. I started crying at the computer. I was so happy for her, and saying to myself, 'That is my daughter.'"

The reality star will be released from prison on Dec. 23 for home confinement and will serve the rest of her sentence in her native New Jersey.
