With still almost half a year away from the release of Arnold Schwarzenegger's new movie, fans of "Terminator" are already beyond excited about it. Arnold did say he'll be back, and now that he is, everyone's glad.

Some would describe "Terminator: Genisys" as a sequel or a reboot, but actor Jai Courtney, who plays Kyle Reese in the film, has a different opinion. This is what he told Empire during an interview:

"What I can say is that we start in a place we're familiar with from the early films and then, you know, circumstances change. It somewhat shifts the course of events from that point. It's not necessarily a sequel or a reboot. I don't even know how you brand it correctly. We're not remaking one of the early 'Terminator' movies. And it doesn't necessarily carry on from the point where we left off."

Courtney does have a point.  The "Terminator: Genisys" plot focuses on the T-800 robots travelling through time. According to Screen Rant, the timeline exists between 1984 and 1991, which is around Judgement Day.

A couple of months back, there was confusion about the real title of "Terminator 5." It started with "Genesis" then just "Terminator 5," but finally, Schwarzenegger confirmed that it will be "Genisys" through the official Facebook page.

After production of the movie, Schwarzenegger also posted an update on Facebook.

He said, "Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of Terminator Genisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back."

Schwarzengger will reprise his role as the infamous Terminator and Jason Clarke will play John Connor. Courtney plays Kyle Reese and Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones) will play Sarah Connor. The cast also includes Dayo Okeniyi, Courtney B. Vance, J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, and Byung Hun-Lee.

The schedule for the "Terminator Trilogy" has been announced, with the second film to be released on May 19, 2017 and the third to be released on June 29, 2018. The third movie will conclude the new "Terminator" films. It is reported that the last two films will be shot back-to-back.  

Again, "Terminator: Genisys" will be released on July 1, 2015.
